Dehshir gas pressure boosting station launched
According to Shana, citing the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company, Behnam Mirzaei stated that the Shahid Ghorbani Motlagh (Dehshir) gas pressure boosting facility, with a capacity of approximately 110 million cubic meters per day, is equipped with four rows of scrubbers, a turbocompressor, and an air cooler. The station entered operational operation with the successful completion of a 72-hour test of units 66 and 67.
Referring to the use of turbocompressors and other domestically manufactured equipment at this station, he added: The Dehshir gas pressure boosting station was built in Yazd province, at kilometer 630 of the eighth national gas line, and operates on a 9-hectare plot of land with a 3+1 layout. This station consists of four MAPNA turbocompressors, each turbine having a power of 25 MW in ISO conditions and increasing the gas pressure entering the station from 970 PSI to 1305 PSI.
According to this report, maximum utilization of the engineers’ capabilities and the use of Iranian equipment such as turbocompressors, scrubbers, air coolers, and internal control systems, and the use of air-operated automatic valve actuators to increase safety and reduce environmental pollution are among the features of this gas pressure boosting station.
